Registration open for Husky Student Leadership Summit




The 11th Annual Husky Student Leadership Summit will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9 AM – 4 PM in Kehr Union. Student registration is now open.

This FREE, day-long student leadership conference with BU alumni is sponsored by Alumni & Professional Engagement, Center for Leadership & Engagement (CLE) and the Community Government Association (CGA).

This year’s theme is “Leaders United.”  Keynote speaker this year is David Williams, President and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, shown at right. Williams is a 1981 graduate of BU's Accounting Department and he was a member of the Men’s Tennis Program during his undergraduate experience at Bloomsburg.  Throughout the conference, BU students are encouraged to attend:
  • Various CLE leadership certification program workshops
  • Roundtable discussions with BU alumni
  • The leadership networking luncheon and the Professional Development Resource Center, where they can get a professional LinkedIn head shot taken
Students can also engage in mock interviewing, get their resume reviewed, discuss post-grad opportunities and learn ways to present themselves as a leader and a rising professional.
