5 Steps to Overcome the Millennial Label

The word "millennial" brings with it negative terms such as "lazy," "sensitive" and "self-entitled." A majority of students in college fall within this generation, which means they can find themselves battling undesirable assumptions.
Danny Fisher '14, an alumnus and self-proclaimed proud millennial, presented five ways any student can shake off the negativity surrounding the term during this fall's Zeigler Institute for Professional Development (ZIPD) Business Conference.

Secure Your Spot for the next Career Intensive Boot Camp

Seniors and juniors are definitely not going to want to miss out on participating in one of the two Career Intensive Boot Camps that will be held during the Spring 2017 semester: Feb. 10-12 or March 3-5.

If you've been following this blog or our Professional U social media, you for sure know about this program by now. But if you're unfamiliar, a Career Intensive Boot Camp is a weekend filled with professional development experiences, including seminars, alumni panels, networking luncheons, and workshops that can help you be a stellar job candidate.

One of the best parts of the Career Intensive Boot Camp is the etiquette dinner where you head to Monty's and enjoy a fine dining meal experience while learning how to act in a professional dining setting. The $40 cost to attend the boot camp includes all of the meals that are provided  including the etiquette dinner.

But you can save $5 if you register by Dec. 16. Space is limited. Signing up early will also ensure your spot is secured before we head into the long winter break. The first two Career Intensive Boot Camps filled up with students quickly and even had a waiting list so Register today at You can make payment with a debit or credit card.
