The URSCA Award Competition for Summer of 2017 is underway. URSCA, or Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, or Creative Activities, provides summer research and activities experiences as an opportunity for students to enhance their competitiveness for jobs or graduate schools.
The award is available to all disciplines for half-time and full-time work and students can be funded $1,500 to $6,000 depending.
The submission date is Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 and should include a student's proposal for a research, scholarly or creative activity alongside a faculty mentor. If selected by a university-wide faculty committee there will be steps the students can take to be hired for the Summer.
