Are You REALLY Ready for the Career Connectons Expo?

The Career Connections Expo is right around the corner, Friday Sept. 30 to be exact, and there is still time to get prepared. Now that you are signed up and your resume is in tip-top shape, it's now time to get prepared for what you can expect at the Expo and make sure you make the perfect first impression. Luckily for you, we have just the thing to get you ready.

There are two more workshops available to students before the Career Expo begins that will really drill in everything you've been preparing for:

Tuesday Sept. 27 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, you can sign up to attend the 'What to Expect at the Career Connections Expo' workshop in the SSC right under Roongos. This workshop will help fill in students about what exactly the Career Connections Expo can offer them from jobs to internships and even graduate school.

Thursday Sept. 29 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, you will be able to attend the ''First Impressions Count': Prepare for the Career Connections Expo' workshop in SSC underneath Roongos as well. During this workshop you will be able to prepare yourself for what you're going to say to an employer or graduate school representative during the Expo. Here you will be able to build your 'elevator pitch' or perfect it in order to make the strongest first impression possible.

Sign up for both of these events on Husky Career Link now at Space is limited and you don't want to miss out on gaining a competitive advantage through these workshops.
