Get Ready for the Career Connections Expo

Whether you're going to graduate school, diving right into the workforce after graduation or searching for career opportunities, sign up to attend the Career Connections Expo on Friday, Sept. 30 at Nelson Field House.

Bloomsburg University's goal is to prepare you for that next step in life. One of the most important ways to get prepared is to learn about companies and organizations you may want to work for in the future. More than 100 organizations, such as PepsiCo, Vanguard, Target, CVS/ pharmacy, will be on campus for the expo.

The Career Connections Expo is also a perfect opportunity for undeclared students to learn more about career areas you may be interested in or for graduating seniors to talk to companies you have a desire to work for. This experience is one you're definitely not going to want to miss out on considering the amazing networking opportunities available.

Get prepared for the Expo by attending these workshops:

  • Thursday, Sept. 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m. or Monday, Sept. 12, 12-2 p.m., Sutliff 114 - Career Connections Sign up Party. Learn how to prepare and get registered to attend.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 13, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Sutliff 114, Pre-Game Resumainia. Is your resume a benchwarmer? Stop in to get feedback and put the finishing touches on your resume. Bring a digital or hardcopy with you!

Why sweat the search?

The friendly atmosphere of the upcoming fall Career Connections Expo on Friday, Sept. 30 at Nelson Field House will make it easy to explore career options and talk to representatives, because they are eager to talk to you. They are coming to campus because they know the value of hiring BU graduates! Whether you are a senior looking for a full time job when you graduate or a freshman exploring majors, be there.
