This is a FREE day-long leadership and professional networking conference for current students to engage with BU alumni. It features two keynote speakers, Hoan Do – a college success coach, author and finalist from American Ninja Warrior television competition and Ben Dearman ’04, an Exercise Science major who was heavily involved in the student athletic training department. After graduating from Bloomsburg, Ben co-authored a best-selling book, became a personal trainer and opened up his own gym, KDR Fitness, in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The summit provides a wide variety of options for you to learn about different leadership development and community engagement topics, presented by BU Alumni and current student leaders. A Professional Development Resource Center is available throughout the day, where you can get a professional headshot taken for LinkedIn, have your resume reviewed, participate in a mock interview, meet with a BU alum to discuss personal branding and get resources about graduate schools and internship opportunities. The summit also includes a free continental breakfast, leadership networking luncheon and giveaways to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Summit.
Sponsored by the Center for Leadership & Engagement (CLE), Center for Professional Development and Career Experience (CPDCE), Alumni Engagement & Community Government Association (CGA).
